Il est \u00e9galement psychologue clinicien. Il est membre correspondant de la Real Academia Espa\u00f1ola, fondateur de la collection Ib\u00e9riques des \u00e9ditions Corti, ancien directeur de la collection Biographies aux \u00e9ditions Descl\u00e9e de Brouwer. Il est \u00e9galement membre du comit\u00e9 de r\u00e9daction de la Revue Sigila. Ses travaux de recherche et ses publications portent essentiellement sur les \u00e9crivains spirituels et mystiques de la Renaissance en Espagne et sur la po\u00e9sie espagnole moderne et contemporaine. Il a compos\u00e9 plusieurs recueils de po\u00e9sies dont <em>Discipline de l\u2019Arcane<\/em> (Arfuyen, pr\u00e9face de J.A S\u00e9abra).<br \/>\nLe po\u00e8me pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ici d\u00e9bute par un vers de Catherine Pozzi.
